Drowning (At Swimming Pool in 170 cm Depth!)

Bismillahirrahmanirrahiim

On last Monday, I and my friends visited Jati Sewu Cibungbang swimming pool, located at Baregbeg, Ciamis. I was excited when arrived there. I immediately took a picture, went for a walk around, and I was so happy.

I didn’t know why I was so happy. Maybe because after six months I never travel, just stay at dormitory. I thought so. Udahlah habis itu I prepared for swimming, because my plan was swimming. My friend, Unni told me about the swimming pool but I didn’t care and I just followed Aa who tried the depth of swimming pool. You can guest what happen next. Of course. I drowned, I was panic and Unni didn’t realize that I drowned. She thought that I and Aa played together in the pool. OMG!

And it was true! There was no one helped me. I tried for holding Aa’s hand but he tried to let my hand. Aa is my friend’s son. He is third grade of Senior High School which his body is smaller than me. You can imagine it! Ya Allah. My mind was messed up and I just thought that I would die at that time. I tried to do the same thing but it wasn’t work out. I’ve given up and then I heard my other friends shouted that I drowned. The process was not easy! Finally, I tried hard to step on the pool ladder and alhamdulillah I could! Huhuuuu.

From this experience I got some lessons:

  1. Beware. Follow the instruction. If you go to the swimming pool please ask the pool guard about the depth of swimming pool. Jangan kayak aku langsung nyebur gitu aja.
  2. If your friend is talking please listen her/him. Don’t just ignore it. Aku kan gitu, coba kalau aku mendengarkan dengan baik, maybe I wouldn’t drown.
  3. Don’t be panic.
  4. Lastly, I think this is very important.

Truly, when I got out from the pool I was embarrassed and wanted to cry. I hope you can learn from my experience.

Have a great holiday!

Love,
